I am a big fan of road trips. Truthfully, I don’t understand how someone couldn’t be. You’ve got snacks, you’ve got playlists and audio books, you’ve got brand new scenery and if you’re directionally challenged than you’ve also got unexpected adventure.

One of my cousins was getting married down in Oregon during the gorgeous summer months and I decided to use this as an opportunity to take myself on a road trip. Initially, I’d wanted to slowly meander up and down the coast, stopping periodically to snap a few shots of the landscape. Sadly, time was not on my side and with only a few days off of work, it ended up being more or less a straight shoot there and back.

That being said, I still had the opportunity to take in some incredible sights from the driver’s seat and found a few opportunities to snap some photos.

I still want to take that meandering trip down the coast and I’m sure it’ll happen, but I certainly wasn’t left unhappy with the experience that I had.
